Rocky joined Hellam Varon in 2025, drawn to the company’s focus on growth, meaningful work, and a supportive, people-first culture. With a background in engineering and a passion for learning new things, she brings a unique blend of technical experience and adaptability to her role. 

Originally from Tehachapi, California, Rocky began her career early with a high school internship at an aerospace manufacturer. That opportunity turned into a six-year engineering path, which eventually led her to move to the Seattle area for a position in an all-electric aircraft company.  

Rocky later discovered a vibrant dance community in Seattle, where she now performs, competes, teaches, and manages a salsa and bachata studio. During that time, she stepped away from the engineering field to reflect on what she wanted most in a workplace—and found that Hellam Varon’s mission and culture felt like the right fit. 

Outside of work, Rocky enjoys cooking, spending time with her dog, Woody, and staying active in the dance community. She has also mentored a robotics team—after competing on her own high school team—to help others discover their spark in STEM.
