Kai Bottomley
(retiring shareholder)
Kai has been serving clients at Hellam Varon since 1989. As one of the firm’s shareholders, he brings a rare ability to consult on both the audit and accounting side as well as on tax strategies. Additionally, he is an experienced business advisor specializing in strategic business planning and merger and acquisition consulting. He works with clients in a variety of for-profit industries including construction, manufacturing and distribution, and service industries.
When it comes to his practice, Kai epitomizes the client service focus Hellam Varon has fostered since its inception. He is a master at developing personal, long standing relationships with his clients. He meets with clients on a regular basis to discuss their challenges, business issues and possible solutions. He also believes in encouraging staff to interact directly with clients, a contributing factor to the successful growth of the firm and a benefit to the staffs’ professional development…a win/win!
Outside of the office, Kai enjoys running and spending time with his wife, Penelope. Like many others at the firm, he looks forward to travelling on family vacations and supporting our local sports teams. You may also find him nose down reading a good mystery novel or two!
I like the people and the diversity of clients we have. We are very service oriented.”
