Hellam Varon welcomed Kaetlyn to the team in 2021, and we haven’t looked back! While she initially studied medicine, Kaetlyn switched over to an accounting major. She applied for positions in both the private sector and public accounting, and her initial opportunity in the accounting world came from a tax firm. Although the first couple of years were tough, she now enjoys and thrives on the work. She has always been good with numbers, liked math in school, and loves to learn. Now specializing in tax, she gets to learn all the time, another great reason Kaetlyn likes the accounting field! At Hellam Varon, Kaetlyn provides tax preparation and planning services to individuals and closely held businesses. She focuses on assisting small business owners, clients with real estate rental properties, and clients with foreign income.

Kaetlyn put herself through college by working all four years. She has determination and a great work ethic that compliments her career. She was drawn to Hellam Varon as a place where she could grow as an accountant.

When she is not delving into new tax regulations, Kaetlyn is on the move in other ways. From hiking and running to traveling, she’s doing it all. Kaetlyn especially loves nature and photographing natural scenery. Her local travels take her to the many quaint towns of Washington state, and if she can try out some new restaurants and foods along the way, so much the better! In her free time, she also studies languages. She is self-taught in Korean and currently working on Chinese and Spanish. We are so glad Kaetlyn’s travels led her to Hellam Varon!
