Julie joined the Hellam Varon team in 2022 after spending over 31 years honing her skills in retail bookkeeping, payroll, customer service, and administration. As part of the Hellam Varon administrative team, Julie processes tax returns as well as monthly billings for the firm. She likes the learning process and relishes the challenges each day presents. With her attention to detail, Julie is well-suited to the strict requirements of tax processing and procedures. She finds the support and camaraderie of her team an enormous bonus that has made changing careers comfortable and straightforward. With her terrific work ethic and personality, Julie fit into the firm from day one.

Born and raised in Snohomish County, Julie loves the PNW and everything it has to offer. She’s adventurous and enjoys taking advantage of outdoor activities with her partner Steve, adult son Logan, and two dogs, Oakley and Marley. Whether it’s camping, hiking, or riding their SxS and dirt bikes, Julie always seems to be on a roll! She’s been riding dirt bikes since 2017 and competes in a desert race every year. She likes supporting her local breweries and is a wine aficionado of Washington wines. She and Steve maintain a wine library at home with plans to remodel the barn into a tasting room. Fitting right in with many members of the team, Julie also likes to travel, and her plans include attending a Seahawks & Mariners road game every year.
