Gina Chang

Gina joined Hellam Varon in 2009 with 10 years of public accounting experience. Today, as a shareholder, she leads the firm’s fiduciary team. She specializes in estate planning and taxation, trust income tax planning, fiduciary accounting, and gifting for the firm’s high-net-worth families and business owners.

Gina was drawn to trust and estate work because of her special interest in helping individuals and families through difficult transitions in life. She operates on her client’s behalf as a key member of the client’s broader advisory team. She collaborates with attorneys and investment advisors to translate complex estate and tax planning into understandable terms with the goal of fostering financial peace of mind for her client.

Outside of work, Gina enjoys spending time with her rescue dog, Willow.  In fact, Gina connects with people over dogs. Have a conversation with her, and you will find the topic inevitably takes a canine turn! There are sure to be dog treats in her office for the occasional client who brings their dog by for an introduction.

Hellam Varon is a place where I can take care of and enjoy my clients and co-workers. It’s about being the best we can be for each other and our clients.”
