When Erin joined the Hellam Varon team in 2012, she brought 8 years of experience in customer service and a broad emphasis on business operations from production and shipping to employee training. From the beginning, Erin fit right in as motivated, sharp, and hardworking. Today, as a key member of the firm’s Business Support Services group, she provides bookkeeping, payroll support, and business tax support to our commercial clients.

Erin’s own experience in industry makes her a natural in advising our small business clients. She stresses the importance of knowing and understanding the needs of her clients and helps them feel supported by employing a team approach to resolving issues. Erin assists clients with interpreting changes in tax laws as they specifically impact small businesses, including sales tax collection, payroll issues, and business licenses.

Outside of the office, Erin enjoys a variety of activities like family bike rides, camping, dirt biking, and crafting with her husband and children. She is a third generation square dancer and spent her childhood dancing with family and participating in the Pacific Northwest Teen Square Dance Festival, which is where she met her husband. She also clogs and round dances. Any time spent outdoors and being active is time well spent according to Erin!
