Debbie joined the Hellam Varon family in 2012, bringing nearly 30 years of experience in finance, sales, business consulting, and performance coaching. As the Director of Sales and Marketing at Hellam Varon, Debbie primarily manages the strategic growth planning for the firm. This includes strategic discussions related to the revenue growth of the firm, sales coaching, organizing and managing the firm’s networking activities, managing the firm’s online presence, strategic client planning, and structuring proposals.

When it comes to performance and growth, Debbie is interested in more than just numbers. She is all about building relationships—it’s what drew her to Hellam Varon in the first place! After working in the finance and accounting industries, she has built a network of connections to support the firm. She also enjoys working with colleagues to develop their skills and foster professional growth. Her favorite part of the job is watching staff grow in confidence, proving to themselves they can accomplish great things.

When Debbie takes off her professional hat, she dons a riding helmet. Besides family, which includes husband Kevin and daughter Lloyd, Debbie’s passion is horses. “My horses have taught me about myself…my strengths, my fears and in the end how to be a better human being.” She also enjoys snow skiing with family and friends and can often be seen behind the lens of a camera!
