Anne Weltner

Anne Weltner was drawn to Hellam Varon in 1987 because of the importance the shareholders placed on families, a culture that permeates the firm to this day. During her time at Hellam Varon, Anne has grown from her tax and accounting role to a key member of the tax department committee, which sets policies and procedures for the tax department. Her practice focus is primarily on individual returns with complex investments.

Anne values working in the Hellam Varon environment with knowledgeable people willing to help. She has always been a natural mentor for newer staff members. But, according to Anne, the best part of her job is that she gets to see clients and help them with their problems.

Outside of work, Anne likes to keep busy and challenged. She has two grandchildren and spends an abundance of time with family and friends, plays handbells in choir, hikes, and travels. So far, she has visited Italy, France, and Egypt, with further trips planned. We are so glad Anne found her way to us. She has been a big part of the Hellam Varon family nearly from the beginning!

We get to see a lot of clients and help them through their problems.  That’s the best part of the job!”
