Amanda "Felicity" Skurski

Felicity joined Hellam Varon in February 2022 after working at a national accounting firm and as they say, “hit the ground running.” They have always liked numbers and felt they were good at understanding math. With a dual major in Accounting and Management Information Systems, Felicity’s background and education gives them the technical expertise to handle a variety of challenges at Hellam Varon. They provide tax compliance services to individuals, partnerships, S and C corporations, and trusts. Felicity enjoys assisting with complicated investments, property exchanges, and state and foreign tax issues. Additionally, they are the firm’s go to person for the rules on energy efficiency credits for individuals.

While Felicity’s favorite thing to say is, “Do you have any more work for me?”, they spend their down time with equal enthusiasm. They are an artist and creative writer and are currently writing a novel. Felicity volunteers at the Walla Walla Public Library running Dungeons & Dragons games for kids and teens to foster community cooperation and problem-solving skills. Beyond their commitment at the library, there’s a full house at home, too. Felicity has two cats, three rats (named after the witches in the movie Hocus Pocus), five chickens, two dogs, and a turtle!

We feel like we discovered a true member of the Hellam Varon family when Felicity came through our door!

You won’t find a better firm than Hellam Varon. The staff here really care about each other and about our clients. We’re a team. We all work together to make sure every job gets done and gets done well.”
